1. What the extension does
YouTube Summary is a Chrome extension that adds a panel to YouTube watch pages. It fetches subtitles for the current video and, on request, sends them to our server to generate an AI summary.
2. Data and privacy
We use your email address only for support and feedback communication. If you submit a message, your email is transmitted over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) for communication purposes only. We do not sell personal data, do not share it with third parties, and it is not processed by any third party in any form.
3. Children's privacy
We do not knowingly collect any information from children under 13.
4. Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
